Growing up we had a tradition of going out and cutting down our Christmas tree. Kenny & I loved it. We would always go to the same Christmas tree farm and then eat breakfast at the same truck stop. Ironically that was the same truck stop that dad would buy mom's Christmas present for years...a rock with crystals in it. At the time she liked it, well maybe it was just the first year she liked it. But we laugh now at all the rocks (literally) dad has bought her over the years!! :-) Mom was always reminding us that we had to be careful and pay attention to where we were walking since there were trees of all sizes and stages of growth out there. She was always very worried about Kenny kicking over a baby trees. So one year we found a branch on the ground, Kenny stood it up on the ground, yelled for my mom to watch him and then kicked it over!! My mother was horrified and yelled at Kenny, while we were laughing. Eventually we stopped laughing and told her what it was. In honor of Kenny, I held up a branch yelled at my mom and had Colton kick it over!
